About us
Hi. My name is Karolina and I come from Bielsko-Biała.
I studied at three universities (Jagiellonnian University, University of Avignon and University of Montreal) and obtained a master's degree in "French as a foreign/ second language (FLE/FLS) and the intercultural education" at the University of Avignon in July 2005.
I have a 3-year professional experience in several disciplines gained in four countries (Belgium, Poland, Canada, France).
I worked in Brussels, both for "Europe Unlimited" (a private company in cooperation with the European Commission) as a business analyst (contacting investors and entrepreneurs) and translator, and for the European Commission itself as a trainee and teacher of Polish for foreigners in the Directorate-General for Education and Culture.
Previously, I was a French language teacher in a language school and a specialist on customer relations in a publicity agency in Bielsko-Biala. Earlier I also worked as a journalist of Gazeta Wyborcza.
I occupied the post of academic assistant in the Research Group on Ethnicity and Society GRES in the Montreal Center of Interuniversity Research on Ethnic Studies CEETUM.
And finally I was the Socrates-Erasmus mobility Administrative officer in the International Service SRI in Avignon.
Now I work as a French language teacher in Teacher Training College of Foreign Languages (Nauczycielskie Kolegium Jezykow Obcych) in Cieszyn. I am at the same time a translator and a teacher of French and Polish as a foreign language in the language school I founded - COSMOPOLITAN.I believe that years of studies and work abroad will guarantee us a fruitful cooperation.
